Split Rock Resort
This resort is about a mile or two away. They have restaurants, bars, mini golf, golf, private beach, an indoor water park and more.
Great Wolf Lodge
We've never been, but have heard it's fabulous.
Jim Thorpe, PA
The little town of Jim Thorpe is about a half hour away. There is a railroad tour of the Lehigh Gorge that is a lot of fun. They decorate for the holidays and have lots of little shops and yummy restaurants. www.jimthorpe.org

Nick's Lake House This place has gorgeous views of Lake Harmony and an awesome multi level deck. It's very casual and laid back. We've been there quite a few times and always had something delicious. nickslakehouse.com

Terracottage cafe
We love this place, it's like a diner with an eclectic collection displays and a wide selection of great food. It has spectacular breakfasts. But a word of caution, last time we went for dinner the menu was rather fancy, very pricey and not worth it. Better bet is breakfast, they have huge coffee mugs!
Take Out
We've collected a bunch of local menus from places that offer everything from pizza and hoagies to great Italian cuisine. The menus are in the kitchen drawer. Happy Eating!
Convenience stores
There are two Wawas in the area.
1.One is on route 115 which is about 10 minutes away.
2. There is one right off the Turnpike (476) at exit 95.
Right on Lake Drive there is another family owned convenience store that makes sandwiches and seems to have quite a variety of food, toiletries and other things.
